IT Systems Administrator

(Full Time, Engineering – Hilversum, NL)

The IT Systems Administrator will be based in the Netherlands and will be responsible for assisting and supporting the day-to-day IT Operations at our Hilversum office. This position will be the primary point of contact for users, partners, and vendors and may require some travel. The position will also provide IT help desk and network administration in-office and remotely for other area locations within the organization.


  • Requires technical knowledge of computer hardware and software including but not limited to PC and Mac, Laptops, Mobile Devices, Windows and Linux Operating Systems, Microsoft Office 365 and awareness of other business applications for day-to-day operations support.
  • Approximately 25% of daily tasks will be focused on Microsoft Office 365 and OKTA Administration.
    • Within OKTA and Office 365 you will be:
      • Creating and managing users
      • Maintaining data integrity
      • Creating and maintaining automatic workflows
      • Troubleshooting errors
      • Change configurations
      • Facilitating upgrades and updates with other business units
      • Develop and lead other Office 365/OKTA goals with guidance
  • Maintains a high-level understanding of business process and drivers. Works effectively with all organizational levels while proactively strengthening relationships with teams, partners, and vendors. Understands and relates business needs in appropriate terms for team members.
  • Coordinates to ensure effective resolution of business issues and timely implementation of preventative actions. Regularly monitors support queues to ensure appropriate responsiveness to end user’s computer issues.
  • Assists with incoming support requests to isolate problems, determine cause and act steps necessary to resolve the problem. Verifies with users the effectiveness of the corrective actions to ensure problems have been resolved.
  • Assists and maintains end user support services including ongoing support of software and hardware portfolio and installation, training and ongoing user assistance and troubleshooting.
  • Performs, Maintains, and Write/Enhance IT help desk Knowledge Base and tracking systems
  • Provides status updates to the Director of IT regarding support issues and staff concerns. Escalates issues as necessary.
  • Stays abreast of technology trends and industry best practices. Works with the Director of IT to proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology, improve processes, and enhance vendor relationships to reduce operating costs and increase user satisfaction.
  • Participates in the development of standards, tools, methodologies, processes, and procedures.
  • Works proactively with the Director of IT, managers, and users to identify needs, developing appropriate business solutions and services where necessary.
  • Assists the Director of IT in yearly fiscal planning activities such as, expense and capital planning, resources planning and roadmap creation
  • Travel not to exceed 25%

  • Experience documenting networks, internal systems, inventory and processes
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours or a modified schedule to support planned activities or emergency situations
