Former New Relic Business Development Executive to Strengthen and Expand Global DevOps Partnerships and Programs
BOSTON, MA – March 6, 2018 – XebiaLabs, a recognized leader in enterprise-class DevOps and Continuous Delivery software tools, today announced that Richard Nuñez has joined the company as its new Vice President of Strategic Alliances.
Richard brings to XebiaLabs a deep understanding of building partner success and executing winning resell, referral, and embedded channel relationships. Richard is a business development and alliances leader with more than 20 years of experience co-selling with ISVs, cloud platforms, resellers, and systems integrators. These partnerships also include OEM and Embedded Systems arrangements. As one of the first hires on the Business Development team at New Relic, Inc., Richard helped orchestrate and build early key partnerships with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Rackspace, which became the pillars of the company’s lead gen and channel strategy. Additionally, as New Relic’s Director of Business Development, Richard established the US Public Sector reseller business by formalizing partnerships with Carahsoft, as well as enterprise resellers such as SHI, SoftwareOne, and HPE. He and his teams closed several strategic embedded agreements with ISVs and global MSPs and enhanced relationships with global and regional SIs, such as Accenture, Deloitte, and Slalom. Under Richard’s management, his teams grew partner lead revenues over 150% for two consecutive years.
“XebiaLabs has a very effective direct selling business, coupled with an extremely strong market position as confirmed by leading analyst firms,” said Derek Langone, CEO of XebiaLabs. “Richard’s deep expertise in building mutually valuable partner relationships and programs will not only help us grow exponentially but will enable our partners to extend their reach by leveraging our leadership position in the Application Release Automation market. Enterprise DevOps requires a collection of best of breed technologies, and we look forward to formalizing relationships with many products we integrate with every day.”
Richard will focus on supporting XebiaLabs’ existing partners, as well as on-boarding new partners in the areas of CI, Provisioning, Service Ticketing, Automated Testing, APM, and other SDLC components. He’ll also build out the team responsible for supporting XebiaLabs partnerships with large system integrators.
“At XebiaLabs, partner success and leverage is the top strategic growth engine while we continue to grab market share in the enterprise DevOps space,” said Richard Nuñez. “The entire XebiaLabs leadership team fully embraces partnerships, which is critical in making partners, and partner programs, truly successful. Partnering with XebiaLabs to make enterprise DevOps a reality presents an extremely exciting opportunity for anyone vested in building and deploying Enterprise apps on time and at scale.”
